My new Coronado PST double stack scope finally arrived!!! 😆😆😆 I waited fot almost a month, B&H Video screwed up completely (they advertise the scope as IN STOCK, it was a lie, they lied two more time as to back order time limits, no way I would buy anything from these crooks). The scope is bigger and heavier than I expected, so I attached Vixen stype plank to use with my HQ-5. Need to think about eypieces, Nagler type does not work due to a short focus , but Plossels should be ok. One camera has the same backfocus as eypiece, but with ASI 290 I need either use Barlow or extend adaptor, let see. The last but important comdition - Sun 🌞 Have”t seen it for few days🙄
P.S. I observed the Sun in PST today for the first time. Despite clouds, the picture is amazing! Even single stacked the details are fantastic, I saw few prominences and details of chromosphere. With the second etalon view get darker but really 3D like
All Plossels focus fine, even my huge Baader Hyperion 10 mm (I surprised), with this eyepiece the Sun just jumped on me! I just focus Levenhuk camera, fine without any adaptors or Barlow. ASI 290 has to be done something, could not focus yet.
